Dr A Anbarasu
Dr A Anbarasu studied from Stanley Medical College - 1985 batch. He did his MD in Radio diagnosis, along with DNB (Radio diagnosis) and DMRE (Gold Medal) at LTM Medical College & Sion Hospital. He learned from names in Radiology, who are great teachers; inspired by them, he started his contribution to teaching even as second year registrar and then as lecturer in Sion Hospital – His teachers include Prof S Merchant, Prof Om Tavri, Prof Mukund Joshi, Prof Ravi Ramakanthan and Dr Bhavin Jankharia.
After a brief stay at Hammersmith Hospital with Prof David Cosgr ove, he took up higher Specialist Registrar work in Liverpool Mersey Region; he obtained the University of Liverpool’s DMRD, while working under Prof R Whitehouse.
During the final FRCR examination in 1999, he won the prestigious Rohan Williams Gold Medal by the Royal College of Radiologists. He was also awarded the Cook travelling fellowship by RCR which was done at Massachusetts General Hospital & Harvard Medical School, Boston.
He held very important positions at University Hospitals Coventry & Warwickshire – as Consultant Radiologist, Royal College Clinical Tutor, Joint Clinical Director, MRI lead clinician. During this time, his contributions to teaching, management, research and paper publications was appreciated and awarded with Six Clinical excellence Awards by the NHS, UK. He has published 21 peer reviewed papers; 33 posters and invited speaker in more than 100 courses and conferences.
He founded the Coventry FRCR2B teaching course, along with his colleagues; taught at Aintree FRCR course along with Dr John Curtis; he has been one of the most sought after teachers at the Chennai FRCR 2B course since its inception. He has taught more than 28 batches / over 750 students for FRCR 2B alone; several MD and DNB students attended his personal teaching.
He also created “Radiant Course” along with colleagues– Radiological Anatomy and Variants teaching course – a unique course that covers key foundation of Radiology – i.e. anatomy.
He is a sought after faculty for many courses and conferences; he has been a mentor for several Radiology students for all over India and guide them in their research, publication, fellowship and academic progress.
Free teaching sessions held by him at the Coimbatore centre and during the CRISP conferences are well appreciated and attended by PG and UG medical students and also consultants . He is a invited teacher for Radiology Post graduates at Coimbatore Medical College & General Hospital and several other Imaging and clinical departments of the country.
Dr M Chandramohan MBBS DMRD FRCR has been a Consultant Radiologist for 12 years at Bradford Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust, with a special interest in Musculoskeletal Radiology & Sports Imaging.
He is passionate about Radiology teaching and his weekly teaching sessions and lectures are highly popular, always well received by Radiology Trainees, Reporting Radiographers and Medical students both in UK and abroad.
He has taught on many teaching courses in the UK and abroad, including FRCR revision courses, FRCS (orthopaedics) revision courses and European course on Imaging in Pain Medicine. He has lectured at various meetings both in the UK and abroad.
Dr Chandramohan is an alumni of prestigious Madras Medical College; he did his DMRD from Stanley Medical College and higher specialist training as specialist Registrar in Manchester.
He is a much sought after teacher for FRCR; he has been a faculty of Chennai FRCR course since its inception and bring his vast experience of teaching international students of FRCR, back to Chennai for our candidates every year.
He has published several papers and posters; contributed to more than 55 chapters in the E-medicine related to Radiology and Imaging; speaker in many UK and other international conferences; he is a member of prestigious international skeletal society.

Dr Deepa Shree is working as Senior consultant in Interventional radiology at Gleneagles Global health city, Chennai with proven skills and experience in the field of interventional radiology and diagnostic hepato-biliary imaging. She is European board certified Interventional radiologist who underwent training in radiology at Yorkshire deanery, United Kingdom and has obtained her radiology FRCR qualification from Royal college of radiologists, United Kingdom.
She is also a Programme advisor FRCR for Texila American University and coordinates activities and organises teaching sessions for post graduates as part of Chennai Interventional radiology Forum – called as MIRACLE ( Madras Interventional Radiology Circle).
Able to perform a wide range of interventional radiological procedures independently with experience in handling acute emergencies. Performed over 600 transarterial
chemoembolisations, over 200 uterine artery embolisations and several other vascular and non vascular radiological procedures.
Dr. Shubhabrata Biswas, MRCP(UK), FRCR, CCT, Fellowship in Neuroradiology, Eur. Dip. Neuroradiology "Dr. Shubhabrata Biswas is a Consultant Neuroradiologist at The Walton Centre, Liverpool- one of the busiest tertiary Neurosciences centres in the UK. Following his residency in General Internal Medicine and MRCP(UK) qualification, Dr. Biswas completed specialist training in Clinical Radiology in the Mersey Deanery (Liverpool region) in UK. He passed FRCR, attained the Certificate of Completion of Training (CCT, UK) and completed a subspecialty Fellowship in Diagnostic Neuroradiology at The Walton Centre.
Dr. Biswas has a strong academic and research interest and has published in several international journals. He is an Honorary Lecturer at the University of Liverpool and is routinely involved in teaching the Radiology, Neurology and Neurosurgery trainees. Dr. Shubhabrata Biswas is a faculty member at several Radiology courses in the UK including the renowned Aintree FRCR Course and has been lecturing at several courses and meetings. His areas of interest include Epilepsy, non-interventional Cerebrovascular imaging techniques and Spine imaging/intervention."

Dr. Suganya Ganesan MBBS MD (RD) FRCR (UK) MMDR (Singapore)
Dr Suganya has completed her medical school from Madras medical college, Chennai in 2009. "THE RAJAN GOVINDARAJULU ENDOWMENT GOLD MEDAL" was awarded to her in the year 2009 for the best women performer from first to final year.
She was the Topper in All India PG entrance exam and obtained her MD Radiodiagnosis from the Prestigious Maulana Azad Medical College, New Delhi. She was the best outgoing student in the exit exam conducted by the faculty of Medical Sciences, New Delhi.
She went on to become a fellow of Royal College of Radiology, UK in 2017. She also has obtained Master of Medicine in Diagnostic Radilology from the reputed National University of Singapore. At present she is the Consultant Radiologist in Kongunadu Hospital in charge of MRI unit.
She has done teaching sessions at the Coimbatore / Chennai FRCR candidates for the past years and helped many of them to understand the nuances of the examination.
Dr. Priya Masilamani, DMRD, FRCR(UK), MMED(Diagnostic Radiology) NUS Singapore, is working as Consultant Radiologist in MGM Health care Chennai.
She heads the woman’s imaging wing with special interest in Mammography. She is an alumnus of prestigious Kilpauk Medical College and completed her post-graduation from Sri Ramachandra Medical College, she is a gold medalist in her post-graduation. She has obtained her FRCR qualification from Royal college of radiologists, United Kingdom and Masters in Medicine (Diagnostic Radiology) from National University of Singapore. She has various publications and guest lectures to her credit.

Dr. Geetha S Nair
Dr. Geetha S Nair, DMRD, DNB, FRCR(UK), is currently working as Consultant Radiologist in MIOT Hospital, Chennai. She completed her primary medical degree from Pushpagiri Medical College Hospital and Research Institute, Kerala, obtaining distinction in all examinatiins all 4 years. She then obtained a Diploma in Radio diagnosis from NTR University of Health Sciences, Vijayawada securing the Second Rank in the state for the qualifying exam. Since 2012, she has been working as a Consultant Radiologist in Chennai. She continued her academic pursuits and keenness to stay abreast of the latest in the field and obtained the prestigious FRCR qualification from the Royal college of Radiologists, UK in the year 2017. Later that year, she qualified for the DNB degree in Radiology from National Board of Education, New Delhi which she completed in 2019. A talented radiologist with expertise in all modalities she has special interests in Women's Imaging and interventions in Breast Radiology.
She also has a keen interest in teaching and is a faculty for the radiology program at MIOT Hospital and has been invited faculty at the training sessions for the FRCR 2B examinations at Chennai for the past 2 years and has helped guide many candidates successfully clear the exam.
